First off, I participate in a small number of forums on a regular basis and I can tell you that forum signatures still work great. I can go to my tracking systems and I frequently see extra traffic coming from those forums, especially when I’ve made a new post.

As you know, I don’t just create my own products, but also work quite a bit with Private Label Rights products.

Having PLR is simply a great way to get things going especially if you need to crank out something quickly or you are just stuck for a moment and don’t know what to write about, then PLR is a great stepping stone.

One major problem I run into again and again however, as I’ve confessed before is that I am really quite graphically challenged and let’s face it, if you use the exact same website headers and product images or ecovers, well then you are not going to attract as much attention as someone that goes the extra step to make some changes and change the product.

And this doesn’t just relate to ebooks either, I have mp3’s, videos and software too that I have Private Label Rights to and that’s another place you really can make yourself stand out from the crowd with a new set of graphics.

The only problem there is that you can either try using Gimp or similar tools, and personally, I still struggle with Gimp. I can create some basic stuff but overall, I am not too pleased with what I am able to produce.

Alternatively, you can shell out several hundred bucks for that other software (you know, the one that makes all the fancy PSD files) and well, I am not willing to fork over that much when I am so graphically challenged to begin with.

You know what?

It’s frustrating at times, you sit down, try to work on a project and there are always plenty of interuptions waiting to take your attention away or screw up the flow of your work.

Personally, I am slowly getting better at staying on task, but I have to admit, it’s not easy, so I started using more and more mindmapping tools, project managers and all the fancy doo-dads and tools you can imagine, but in the end, I often just go back to some of my step by step checklists to help me see clearly again.

If you do something long enough, you develop special tools to make the job more managable, efficient, and effective. That’s one reason why pros are so much faster and more effective than non-pros.

Well, one of the greatest things that make a site really successful are it’s members.

Like I told you originally, one of the goals I have for “How To” Video Training is to not just create a Video Training site, but ultimately create a full community site where everyone can help each other.

Let me give you an example.

That gets old, it’s like being in a lecture hall, not a community site.

I believe strongly in helping you succeed but I also realize that alone, I cannot help you as much as everyone together can help each other.
