One of the questions I am often asked is:
“How do these guys get tons of people to promote for them”

Ok, so that’s really three questions, and in reality I get asked essentially the same thing in many different ways:
“How can I get the big guys to take notice of me and partner or JV with me when I am still new and don’t know anyone?”

It’s a great question and to be very honest, there are as many different answers as you can imagine to this one question, but the reality is this. You could just have logged on the net today for the first time and if you know how to contact potential partners you could be bringing in revenue today still.

It is true, being able to get the attention of potential partners is one of the keys to going from ‘all alone’ to real success.

Unfortunately, in talking with a lot of people, the first thing I hear is fear. Fear of rejection, fear of hearing ‘no’.

You have to get past that.
Sure, I get told ‘no’, we all do. The key thing is that if you toss in the towel at hearing ‘no’ once or twice or even a hundred times, then you tossed it in too early.

Another great way to find potential partners is to look at your niche. Do a search on your keyphrase and see what the top sites are that the search engines show you. You could contact them too.

One more tip on finding possible JV partners is to look at the standings during JV Launches. They often have a list of the top referrers, their top people.

I have been in those ‘top’ lists myself along the way more than a few times and it’s really cool to get an email from someone congratulating me on how well I was doing. I was told where they’d seen my standings/results and I was asked a simple question or offered some help with my own next launch. Let’s just say that if you congratulate someone about their launch standings, then you are quite likely to get their attention.

My aunt called me this morning to let me know that my Grandfather is getting ready to go into the hospital to have a Pacemaker put in his heart.

Normally this is an easy procedure, but my Grandfather is in really poor health and the doctor says it could be dangerous for him.

My Pa and I have always been close. I am his Youngest grandchild, and his Only granddaughter. I guess you could say he has spoiled me a little over the years.

When I was growing up I would go to Texas to spend a month with him and Nanny every summer. I traveled all over Texas with Pa and Nanny and heard all kinds of stories that started with “when I was a kid.”

I loved those stories then and now I love listening to them tell those same stories to my children. Well, as long as they stick to the stories about themselves.

I don’t like it much when they start telling stories about ‘me” when I was a kid! LOL

Anyway, my Pa is having surgery and I am getting ready to make the trip to be with him while he does it.

So as I am getting everything else ready, my husband has been busy getting the finances ready.

Now Sharlene and Scott aren’t just friends, they are close friends, but I also feel very strongly about the situation Sharlene is facing right now.

When I left Germany to move to the USA, I left a lot of my family behind and it’s never easy when someone is not doing well and you would like to go visit them, it’s often not even possible.

I left my grandmother behind and only a few short months after I left she passed away, and I was not able to say goodbye to her. I will be honest with you, my Oma (grandma in german) and I were very, very close and for me to not be there hurt me more than I ever could have imagined.

Let’s help Sharlene get to visit with her Pa please, I really need your help on this one, well Sharlene does, but in a way, I feel like it’s my grandmother all over again. Maybe, aside from Sharlene being a friend, that’s why I feel so strongly about helping her go to see her grandpa.

Have you ever thought that those videos that are shown on web sites are something that only the “gurus” or techies can know how to do?

Placing videos on sales pages, squeeze pages or thank you pages for your own or affiliate products accomplish TWO very important things for any IMer.

I have been using website templates to help make my life easier for a number of years now. Mainly because when it comes to graphic design, I am more than challenged. A single website header graphic can take me days to create and often I am just ‘accepting’ the final version after hours and hours of wrestling with my own creativity and not having the incredibly expensive softwares (or knowing how to use them correctly).

1)Imagine having a product but not a store…, well, a site is like having a store, a place where people can see you products and potentially buy, start with a template…

Using templates I can launch a site within just a few short hours (one test I did it only took me 40 minutes to launch a product I had resell rights for and make it stand out from the crowd of all the other resellers). If I had tried to create the graphics myself I would have easily added at least another day or two to the whole process.

A lot of top marketers use the phrase ‘the internet loves speed’, the speed of your action that is, so when I see a great product and I want to launch it, then I want to make myself stand out from the crowd, but I also want it to go live as quick as possible.
4)You could hire a Graphic Designer to make the job, but if you need something right away, templates will usually solve your problem.

I have worked with some really awesome designers and have been really impressed by what talent they have and how they seemingly effortlessly can transform my vision into reality, but the problem is that it does take them time, they have to show you their initial drafts, then you have to comment on them, back and forth, it can take days. In some cases weeks, because top designers are in extremely high demand and hiring a designer can set you back as much as several hundred dollars if not more for just a website design.
5)Some templates come with the source files, that way you can ask a Graphic Designer to change it a little bit to fit your needs.

Doing this really helps speed up things, especially if you have a great graphic or template already picked out.
6)Don’t know how to create graphics yourself? In some cases the only thing you need is to insert your text and you are ready to go.

This is the best part, just open the template in your favorite html editor and start typing. If you want to, you can always play around with the graphics just a little bit too to add anything special you’d like and that also helps you stand out even more from the crowd if others have a similar or the same template.
7)Do you have several products you would like to sell? Templates are very useful, you’ll usually find a variety of themes or subjects.

You can use your templates based on your niche, or use your template as a ‘wraparound’ enclosing your offer itself.
