The reason behind it was that yesterday (ok, these past few weeks) have been very crazy and extremely busy, sometimes too wild and chaotic and I was starting to feel it. As you already know, I am a very strong advocate of ‘getting all your eggs out of one basket’. You’ve already seen me discuss this issue at length as part of the Niche VRE Mega Deal lately, and a number of other marketers have taken me up on this drive to help spread the word.

Of course another key part of the puzzle to succeeding online is to actually get something done. Don’t spend a ton of time analyzing or thinking or learning about what you are going to do, but just get started. You can always go back later to tweak and finetune what you are working on. But I wanted to share something else with you today. I hadn’t started to get my eggs out of the basket soon enough and got hit hard as did many other people.

Today I wanted to show you another example of getting your eggs out of one basket. I sat down and quickly using WP plugins and some other tools and resources set up a new niche site. This site already has several different revenue streams built in and will continue to have new information posted to it without me having to lift a finger. Now the site is still at it’s starting point, there are still more things I want to tweak and finetune, but I just decided to get it done!

Since I also suffer from Type 2 Diabetes I often am searching for information and news about Diabetes, but that’s not the only reason I decided to put this site together. Let’s face it, I am also an internet marketer and I have to put some bread on the table too (that’s why you’re in business too, right?).

This week I’ll be finetuning DiabetesQuestionsAnswered.com some more and also setting up two other sites (sorry, keeping those niches to myself) that will continue to provide me with fresh traffic, new visitors and more revenue and income streams over the months and years to come.

I think it’s awesome when someone takes the time to leave a comment on my site, not only have they stopped by and spent time with me and my writing (and hopefully I was able to help them a bit), but they took time out of their busy day to leave me their feedback and thoughts too.

That means a lot to me when someone does that, so when I came across this plugin I just had to try it out.

The nice thing about leaving a comment (aside from making the person you are leaving the comment for feel good or contributing some valuable comments and thoughts for everyone to enjoy), you also can link back to your own site. The thing is however that it’s often tied to your name, not to the blog title or anything else. The other part is that it also is just a static link, meaning, it’s just a link to the homepage of a site, could be your blog or any other site, but now with CommentLuv activated, when you leave a comment here at XavierNelson.com you’ll not just get that one link, but if your site has a feed associated with it then CommentLuv will automatically go find it and grab the title/heading of your latest blog post and add it to the comment as well.

If you saw my agenda last week, you would have pulled your hair out screaming. I tried to shove into one week what a good friend told me would take at least 1 month to do, especially with everything else that’s going on.

So remember, don’t overload your plate and stay realistic when preparing your agenda and tasks for the week, I know I will be working on that this week and trying to make sure I don’t get so hard on myself if I overload my plate - hey, we are human after all, right?
