Ever thought to yourself: “Me and my big mouth!”

Well, I know I have and once again I did this weekend.

After being all excited friday about being able to unveil my secret lab project to you finally (especially since I am doing it to help you get past two very major problems most marketers never can solve) something went wrong…

Murphy’s Law reared it’s ugly head and fate decided to test my resolve and dedication to this project. Remember, I’ve told you before that’s one of the hardest parts to deal with, getting smacked down and then having to get up, dust yourself off and getting back to work.

My aunt called me this morning to let me know that my Grandfather is getting ready to go into the hospital to have a Pacemaker put in his heart.

Normally this is an easy procedure, but my Grandfather is in really poor health and the doctor says it could be dangerous for him.

My Pa and I have always been close. I am his Youngest grandchild, and his Only granddaughter. I guess you could say he has spoiled me a little over the years.

When I was growing up I would go to Texas to spend a month with him and Nanny every summer. I traveled all over Texas with Pa and Nanny and heard all kinds of stories that started with “when I was a kid.”

I loved those stories then and now I love listening to them tell those same stories to my children. Well, as long as they stick to the stories about themselves.

I don’t like it much when they start telling stories about ‘me” when I was a kid! LOL

Anyway, my Pa is having surgery and I am getting ready to make the trip to be with him while he does it.

So as I am getting everything else ready, my husband has been busy getting the finances ready.

Now Sharlene and Scott aren’t just friends, they are close friends, but I also feel very strongly about the situation Sharlene is facing right now.

When I left Germany to move to the USA, I left a lot of my family behind and it’s never easy when someone is not doing well and you would like to go visit them, it’s often not even possible.

I left my grandmother behind and only a few short months after I left she passed away, and I was not able to say goodbye to her. I will be honest with you, my Oma (grandma in german) and I were very, very close and for me to not be there hurt me more than I ever could have imagined.

Let’s help Sharlene get to visit with her Pa please, I really need your help on this one, well Sharlene does, but in a way, I feel like it’s my grandmother all over again. Maybe, aside from Sharlene being a friend, that’s why I feel so strongly about helping her go to see her grandpa.
