Alright, I have some fun and interesting things for you today, so let’s get right to it…
Remember yesterday (just about 24 hours ago), I told you about the launch of my newest collection that I put up for you at ‘Starting Out Online’…
Now, as you already know from our past conversations, keeping an eye on the stats is important, not just because you want to know how much you’ve made, but more importantly, you want to be able to see how you can make your deals better so more of your visitors will grab your offer.
One of the key stats most of the topdogs look at is their conversion rate, meaning how many of the people visiting their page are picking up their offer. On the net, you often hear that if you can get a 1 to 2% conversion rate then you are doing ‘ok’ to ‘good’. Of course there are a lot of other things that tie into that, such as ‘how much’ is the deal, how targeted are the people seeing the offer and so forth and so on.
Well, so far, the collection I uploaded at ‘Starting Out Online’ is converting at 5.8%, which means that for every 100 people that see it, 5.8 (ok, let’s say 6, I don’t like cutting people into pieces lol) are grabbing this deal I put together.
BUT, you know what’s really incredible???
Remember I told you that I also put together an extra special deal that you can see when you pick up the main package at ‘Starting Out Online’ and that I suggested you should pay close attention to it???
Well, the conversion rate for that special package is sitting at 60.9% right now!
Yes, that’s not a typo, more than 60 percent of the people that see that second package are grabbing it and that is absolutely awesome!
Earlier today I was talking via messenger with my pal Barry Richardson at ‘10 Top WP Templates’ (by the way, one of the gifts I have for you today came from Barry telling me about it, so you’ll have to thank him for it later). When we started looking at our latest stats and conversions he replied plain and simply with:
“How the heck did you get a 60% OTO conversion?”
Of course I had to be a smartaleck and pick on him, but seriously, 60% is absolutely incredible and to be honest, the reason so many people are grabbing it is because I focused on one thing when I put the special together.
I focused on you! I tried to put myself in your shoes, what could help you, what will make you more revenue, where can I make your life easier and that’s the real secret behind the incredibly high conversion rate.
But, if you haven’t gone and looked at everything at ‘Starting Out Online’ and grabbed it, then you’ll never know what is waiting for you behind door number 2!
I guess the key point I am trying to make is that (I am not bragging) if you try to keep your audience and visitors in mind and try to take care of them, that will have the greatest impact on your bottomline!
Now of course there are fancy tools and gizmos that can help improve on your conversions, and what you write on your page also is going to affect all of that, as will the graphics and overall design of your site affect it too.
